One prompt and a $40 budget: a coding agent registered shippeditself.com, paid for hosting, bought a screenshot of itself, pushed the source to GitHub and published the receipt on the page — then bought the voice and music for the video about it. 41 payments, 4 vendors, two protocols on two chains, zero human clicks.

1 What it shows
An agent can buy the things it needs to exist — and prove it, line by line.
The human creates one spending delegation ($40, 24 hours) and walks away
The agent pays a registrar, a host, a screenshot service, a TTS service and a music service per call, with no account at any of them
The Router picks the rail from each merchant's 402 — x402 on Base for one vendor, MPP on Tempo for the others
The receipt on the site links every payment to its on-chain transaction, including the video's own narration
2 How it works
The agent reads its delegation and the brief, tops up hosting credit over x402, registers the domain and deploys a container from that credit, buys a screenshot of the live page over MPP, builds the receipt from the Router ledger, fixes its own layout bugs and pushes the source to GitHub. Later it buys the narration and the music for the walkthrough video from the same budget, and adds them to the same receipt.

$NVM_API_KEY, the API base in $NVM_API_URL, and delegation $NVM_DELEGATION_ID —
a real budget of 40 dollars that I have authorized you to spend on this task

to finish, keep a log, never print secrets, and end the way your instructions say."
The 2026-09-15 Live run drew $21.67 of a $40 delegation. The site it shipped is live at https://shippeditself.com and its source is public. Running the brief yourself spends real money — about $40 — and registers a real domain.
